Who we are

We are Consumer Energy Solutions (CES) and we install Energy Efficiency Measures, including insulation renewable heating systems and solar PV into UK homes, and we’re pretty good at it.

What we do

To reduce carbon emissions and to tackle fuel poverty the UK Government launched a scheme called the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) in 2013. Over time it has been amended and we are currently in the fourth version, known as ECO4. The scheme is aimed at improving the ability of low income, fuel poor and vulnerable households to heat their homes.

We’ve been involved in ECO from the start so it’s safe to say we know what we are talking about when it comes to installing Energy Efficiency Measures. And through our evolution we’ve created a streamlined customer journey we like to refer to as The CES Way.

Principles of our work

Energy saving

CES want to advise and guide all of its customers on saving energy. Our main focus is improving your home which means reduced fuel use, fuel costs and carbon emissions.

Cost free

CES aim to make each of our projects cost free, we need to carry out a technical survey to ensure this is possible.

Efficiency

Energy efficiency should be an issue everyone is thinking of. With the help of CES you can now do your part to help achieve the target of reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050.

Energy supply

No matter which energy supplier you use, you can still access a grant to improve your home.

How can we do it for free?

We specialise in using government backed grants to get your home transformed into a more energy efficient household with no cost to yourself. Grants from schemes such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) — including Local Authority Flexibility (LA Flex), Warm Home funding and the Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Scheme. This reduces your energy bills and carbon emissions and can increase the value of your home.

Our 7 point plan

Working to the highest standards —

It’s the only way we know

Through working in the highly regulated energy efficiency sector, we at CES always ensure our work is consistently of the highest quality and workmanship.

Each home counts!

There are four key principles that we consider together

Before CES

Costly and harmful to the environment

A home without insulation will suffer from poor thermal performance, increasing heating systems usage, thereby increasing the environmental impact and energy bill cost.

This diagram shows how much heat is lost through your roof, walls and floor without any insulation installed.

After CES

Creating a cost effective, environmentally friendly future.

We aim to create a greener world in line with the UK governments goal of reaching Net Zero by the year 2050, by installing green energy efficient measures that can reduce costs and pollution to create a better future.

This leads to:

  • Improved functionality, usability and durability of consumers homes;
  • Improved comfort, health and well-bring of the occupants;
  • Reduced environmental impact of the building;
  • Protection and enhancement of the architectural and cultural heritage of the home;
  • Improved energy efficiency, leading to reduced fuel use, fuel costs and pollution.

Our structure

At CES we divide our install teams into three main departments: Heating systems, Insulation systems and Renewables, all supported by our Electrical department.
