Consumer Energy Solutions (CES) sponsored the 2023 Swansea Christmas Parade, donating £1500 for the Stay Safe Wristbands.
The Swansea-based company stepped in to become the Stay Safe Wristbands sponsor, ensuring 25,000 were printed to help children stay safe during the busy event.
The parade made its way through the city featuring a vibrant mix of local community groups, dancers, bands, choirs, floats, inflatables, light-up characters, princesses and superheroes – all joining Santa Claus to switch on the city centre’s Christmas lights.
CES, which has permanent bases across Wales and the South West and has a workforce of more than 500 people, supports customers in energy-proofing their homes to reduce their carbon footprint and ultimately, their energy bills.
Huw Llewellyn, Marketing Manager at CES, said: “We are thrilled to have joined forces with the Council to help sponsor the Christmas Parade this year. The iconic event takes over our city in such an exciting way, we wanted to be able to help in any way we could. Sponsoring the new Stay Safe Wristbands was an honour, and it was great to see so many little ones wearing them on the night. It was a great event and we look forward to next year.”
